Dr. Hicham Jamil

Cardiologist

Dr. Hicham Jamil is a seasoned cardiothoracic surgeon with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in cardiac surgery. He currently practices at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, where he is part of the Department of Cardiac Surgery .​

Education and Training

Dr. Jamil earned his medical degree from Damascus Medical School in 1984. He completed a general surgery residency at Damascus University from 1984 to 1986, followed by a cardiac surgery residency from 1986 to 1992. In 1993, he pursued a fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, USA .​

Professional Affiliations

He is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Society for Cardiovascular Surgery (ISCS), the Mediterranean Association of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, and the Syrian Association of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery .
